No, Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Andaman as it is part of India.
The best time to visit Andaman is between November and May when the weather is pleasant and the sea is calm.
Some of the must-visit places in Andaman include the Cellular Jail, Ross Island, Radhanagar Beach, Neil Island, and Baratang Island.
Andaman offers a range of water sports activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides.
While Andaman’s beaches are beautiful, some of them have strong currents and undertows, making swimming unsafe. It is advisable to stick to designated swimming areas and follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
The official language of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is Hindi, but English is widely spoken and understood.
Indian Rupees is the official currency of Andaman, and it is accepted throughout the islands. Some hotels and resorts may also accept credit cards.
